A few minutes of attention to your face can become a small daily ritual. For us, gua sha is not about rushing or complicated techniques, but about consciously slowing down and letting the tool glide smoothly over the skin.
Start with clean skin
Cleanse your face and then apply a few drops of facial oil or another product with sufficient slip. The gua sha should move smoothly over the skin; pressing hard is not necessary.
Work calmly from the inside out
Hold the stone relatively flat against the skin and make slow movements from the center of the face outwards. Think of the jawline, cheeks, and forehead. Repeat each movement a few times and choose a pressure that feels comfortable.
Which gua sha suits you?
The shape and material mainly determine the feel in your hand and on the skin. Rose quartz and green jade have the natural look of stone. Our stainless steel gua sha in rose gold feels smooth, cool, and modern.
Make it a ritual
Five calm minutes are enough. Put your phone away, take your time, and most importantly, let the routine feel pleasant. Curious about the differences between the materials? Read our Journal about rose quartz, jade, and stainless steel gua sha.
Only use a massage tool on intact skin and stop if anything feels uncomfortable.
